You know, love is such that it takes over you, then you think about it differently from the way you think about other things. Likewise, when something else or perhaps, someone else takes over that love, you start to think about it the same way you think about other things, then that special thought and feeling is transfered to the new object or person.
When you love, the other person feels it too. Not necessarily love you back but they feel you love them. When they start to feel less than loved, then you certainly love them less. Don’t deceive yourself. Loving someone is not what you feel, its how the other person feels. That’s the manifestation of love- how the other person feels.
It’s interesting how one is able to feel secured in an object or an idea or illusion, than he feels in a person- a warm blooded, love filled human. Maybe for you, the question may not be about security. Maybe its just about being fulfilled, which leads to being happy satisfactorily. If that’s what you are seeking, then the question comes back to security. I doubted T.D. Jakes severally when he said that all men are afraid of women so even if the women love them, they still run away and hide their love in objects. That’s because I had evidence- my man was different. But what if T.D. Jakes was right?
The thing about being love washed is that you don’t see what you are doing is wrong. Ever heard this saying, that “love rights all”? Yea, when the cause of your conduct or misconduct is love, it suddenly doesn’t feel wrong. So even when your victim is near death, you start to demand explanation for what the heck is happening to them. Then when you are superblously deep into your new object of love, your victim looks stupid. Even worse, when you don’t listen to their voice; when you simply can’t understand what the heck they are talking about, then they are simply stupid, then they need to step up and do the right thing.
The other thing about love is that when it’s lost, it’s super- hardly recovered. When it’s righted in the wrong, it super- hardly returns to right the wrong.
So here is love in its grandest manifestation- it is absolutely absolute! get it, or get rid of it!
